![]() With the Cannibal perk, when you're in Sneak mode, you gain the option to eat a corpse to regain Health. When you're in Sneak mode, you gain the option to eat a human corpse to regain hit points, but lose Karma. With the Pyromaniac perk, you do +50% damage with fire-based weapons, like the Flamer and Shishkebab. Bugs with throwables and ammo types were fixed and are also affected by the perk. Requirements were changed, originally being Explosives 60. With the Life Giver perk, for each rank you gain an additional 30 Hit Points. Both ranks are restored cut content from Fallout 3. Two more ranks have been added, each further increasing HP by 30. However, it also makes many more changes which are more gameplay-visible and affect game balance, which will be listed below. Tale of Two Wastelands modifies many New Vegas perks to fix technical issues, correct discrepancies in descriptions, and fix normally impossible level requirements. Some perks from Fallout 3 were changed to give special effects rather than increase stats, and the effects of all bobbleheads have been changed to instead grant "mini perks." ![]() New companion perks are introduced for the Fallout 3 companions to make them more in-line with how Fallout: New Vegas companions work.
